Hi everyone! I am Swastika Mondol, currently entering my third year of electrical engineering at UBC, with a focus on power and energy systems. My role as a project research assistant at IDEA Lab has fueled my passion for healthcare and innovation. There, I work on technology aimed at improving the quality of life for older adults.

Outside the lab, I serve as the Vice President of Communications for the Electrical and Computer Engineering Student Society. I am also part of UBC Orbit’s MAIV (Manufacturing, Assembly, Integration, and Verification) engineering subteam, where we are developing a satellite set to launch into space in 2025 in collaboration with the European Space Agency!
