UBC IDEA Lab and Intercontinental Alliance for Integrated Care (IAIC)
Dr. Lillian Hung, Canada Research Chair in Senior Care, Associate Professor at UBC School of Nursing (Vancouver), Faculty of Applied Science, The University of British Columbia, and founder of UBC IDEA Lab, was recently invited to join the Intercontinental Alliance for Integrated Care (IAIC) launch in hashtag#Singapore.
As a founding member of this global initiative, The University of British Columbia seeks to advance international collaboration on Integrated Care for Older People (ICOPE) research and innovation.
The event, hosted by the Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore, underscores the growing importance of integrated care as a critical pillar in addressing the needs of aging populations worldwide. Through ICOPE, the Alliance fosters impactful partnerships that promote healthy aging and quality care for older people.
Dr. Hung’s participation represents a significant opportunity to elevate Canadian contributions to global efforts in enhancing person-centred, integrated care solutions.
