We are excited to share that UBC IDEA Lab was featured in the latest episode of the Dementia Dialogue podcast, titled “Leave No One Behind“!

✨ Albin Soni – A fourth-year School of Biomedical Engineering at UBC student and our research assistant at IDEA Lab.

They discuss the inspiration behind IDEA Lab, our goals, and how we bring together patients, family partners, researchers, health system planners, and students to co-create technology that supports the care of people with dementia and older adults.

The conversation also highlights the importance of inclusion in research, the process of turning ideas into impactful solutions through patient-oriented research (POR) and the power of intergenerational engagement.
