Pristine V.

Hi, my name is Pristine! I’m currently pursuing my undergrad in Kinesiology at UBC. I enjoy learning about topics in healthy aging, rehabilitation, neurology, and psychology. I’m grateful to have worked with older adults in recreation and exercise programs in a long-term care facility and community centre. I highly value accessibility and continue to engage in opportunities that allow me to collaborate with individuals of varying abilities.
Being part of an interdisciplinary team at the IDEA lab brings my interests together meaningfully. I strive to learn more about technological advancements in healthcare and its potential to enhance the quality of life for the aging population and their care partners.
During my free time, I like to play Stardew Valley or go outdoors for a hike. I have participated in the Climb for Alzheimer’s at Grouse Grind and extend my support to those with dementia and their families through my involvement at the UBC IDEA lab.
