World Health Organization Integrated Care for Older People (ICOPE) framework on July 25, 2024

UBC IDEA Lab members joined Dr. Carol Ma’s presentation, which was organized by the Edwin S.H. Leong Centre for Healthy Aging at The University of British Columbia. Dr. Ma’s insightful sharing highlighted the significant usability and person-centered value of the World Health Organization Integrated Care for Older People (ICOPE) Framework. This reminds us of the importance of developing tools that older individuals and their caregivers can use independently, in collaboration with the care team. Empowering them with these tools promotes engagement, vital for fostering a sustainable care partnership.
