Jastinne Diaz

Hi everyone! My name is Jastinne Diaz, and I am a graduate student in the School of Public Health at the University of Alberta. Prior to pursuing my public health masters, I graduated with a BSc Specialization in Psychology also from the University of Alberta, with a particular interest in language and developmental psychology. 

My interest in working with the older adult population stems from a class on aging that I took during my undergraduate degree. This class brought to light issues surrounding aging that I found very interesting and led me to pursue a public health degree. My goal in pursuing my public health degree, and volunteering in the IDEA Lab, is to improve the quality of life for older adults for this generation and the generation to come.In my free time, I enjoy doing yoga, dancing, drinking hot chocolate, and going on drives.
