Sahar Allen
Sahar is a new graduate from University of British Columbia with a Bachelor in Science in Behavioural Neuroscience. During her undergraduate degree, she was extensively involved with research through different labs such as the Visual Cognition Lab, Centre for Cognitive Development and Coping with Neurological Symptoms Lab. Throughout her research & community involvement, she realized her passion for patient oriented research and including their voices in the decision making process to better optimize the research findings. Sahar is very excited to be joining the IDEA lab as she believes the mission and values of this lab aligns with what she is most passionate about.
Outside of academics, Sahar is a full-time professional staff at UBC and also enjoys spending her free time doing hot yoga, exercising, going to the beach and reading 🙂
