Mary Van
Mary is an Integrated Sciences Major at UBC studying Immunology & Neurobiology who is hoping to pursue graduate studies further and have a career in the healthcare field.
She finds deep value and joy in making positive contributions to the lives of others through her community involvement – big or small. She is curious about the intersection of technology with long-term care.
Currently involved in the VR Project, she is thrilled to be involved in innovative research solutions to improving dementia and aging care with the UBC IDEA Lab to help build an equitable, diverse, and inclusive environment for everyone. In her spare time, you can catch her trying to find her next book to read, spending time with family and friends, or constructing 3D puzzles/nano blocks!
