Hiro Ito
Hello! My name is Hiro, and I’m a 2nd year MSc student at UBC in the School of Population and Public Health. Before entering my graduate program, I completed my BA in Psychology at UBC and was involved with many research projects in health psychology and health promotion.
My research interests include the psychosocial and cultural aspects of health, aging and dementia, and accessibility. My master’s thesis project explores how Japanese Canadians live well with dementia. When I am not studying or working, you can find me playing with my pet rabbit or attempting to grow her some vegetables. Fingers crossed that I’ll have some leafy greens for her soon!
