Josephine Agudo

Josephine Agudo (she/they) is a registered nurse with a specialty in geriatrics who works as an educator and resource clinician with the Long-Term Care and Assisted Living Professional Practice Team.  She is a PIECES practitioner and certified GPA (Gentle Persuasive Approaches) Coach.  Josephine is passionate about empowering and enabling the people who live and work in long term care homes to be seen and heard.  She advocates for creating safer spaces for all and for personhood-promoting practices for the 2SLGBTQIA+ seniors community and people living with dementia in long-term care.  Josephine enjoys using technology to evolve the delivery and quality of education.  In her spare time, she enjoys djing, playing team sports, outdoor activities, and leading financial literacy workshops.  Josephine is an ‘old soul’, a ‘kid at heart’ and a ‘jack of all trades”.
