I’m a family physician from Hong Kong, and I’m currently a full-time student of the MHLP Senior Care program at UBC. Before moving on to private practice, I used to work at the geriatric department of a rehabilitation hospital, where I witnessed lots of seniors with dementia being stuck in the hospital waiting to be discharged home with little support or to long-term care against their wishes. So, I’m passionate about bridging the gap between tertiary and primary care by supporting older adults with dementia to age in place through enhancing community support and utilizing innovative technology.

Fun facts about myself: I’m a parrot lover, and I used to train my pet parrots to do tricks in Hong Kong. I’m also a mother of 3 little girls. We really love Vancouver and the lovely people here and hope to make this our second home in the future!
