Kevin Dong

I am majoring in Cellular, Anatomical, and Physiological Sciences at UBC. As a research assistant for the IDEA Lab, I hope to nurture my passion for geriatric healthcare and explore how technological innovations can improve research surrounding neurodegenerative diseases. I’ve volunteered at senior nursing homes, and Alzheimer’s Disease hits close to home as well. Although my past experience has mainly involved wet-lab biological research, I am interested in seeing how patient-oriented research can provide a fresh perspective for improving the state of clinical neuroscience. Outside of academia, I enjoy playing badminton, watching movies, and clowning around with friends. If you’re lucky, you can catch me running it down in League at 2 AM.
