My experience as a primary care partner for a family member with dementia and several serious chronic conditions sparked my interest in person-centred dementia care practices, especially at the complex, chaotic and stressful intersections of home(s), hospital(s), and long-term care home(s).  In particular, I am interested in exploring how innovative uses of technology can facilitate social connection with people who have severe dementia, who are seldom heard and often overlooked – in life and in research.
