Paavan Randhawa

I am a second year Psychology student applying into UBC Nursing, and a research assistant for the UBC IDEA Lab. Previously, I was involved in the Happy2Eat project, as I worked to co-conduct focus groups and contributed to a research article. Furthermore, I co-presented the Happy2Eat project at the Northern Health Conference with Dr.Hung and another research assistant. Currently, I am working alongside Dr.Hung and a research team for the development of a new study. Through participation in these research projects, my passion for person-centred care has been strengthened and therefore, will have a marked impact as I progress further into my healthcare career.

In my free time, I enjoy playing the piano and field hockey. In addition to my hobbies, I also own a pet labradoodle, named Moose. As a rambunctious two-year old, Moose keeps me on my toes! However, he also keeps me fit, as we enjoy running together. On top of that, he has provided immense emotional support, especially during the pandemic.
