Charlie Lake

I am a third year Biomedical Engineering student at UBC, and a research assistant for UBC IDEA Lab. Currently, I am involved in developing and maintaining the IDEA Lab Website and working on the Telepresence Robot Project.

Through my degree and my work in the lab, I have become passionate about using innovative technology to improve patient outcomes. I hope to someday pursue graduate studies in Biomedical Engineering and develop my own technologies to improve healthcare.

I spend my free time taking care of my many plants, and cooking. I love baking cookies, muffins, and all sorts of other baked goods for my friends! I also enjoy going on runs around Vancouver, spending time with my friends, and looking at pictures of my friends’ dogs.
