We had a wonderful day presenting at the 2025 Interdisciplinary Conference in Rehabilitation Science of BC (INCREASE BC), held at the BC Children’s Hospital Research Institute! Patient and family partners, students, and trainees from the UBC IDEA Lab shared our work across several oral and poster presentations.
We’re proud to see our lab’s work and collaborative spirit celebrated. Thank you to the UBC Rehabilitation Sciences Student Executive Committee (RSEC) for organizing and amplifying the voices of patient and family partners in RehabilitationResearch.

A special congratulations to Yong Zhao (PhD student) for receiving two Viewer’s Choice Awards—for his 3-Minute Thesis on gamified cycling in hashtag#LongTermCare and his poster presentation on the “Facilitators and Barriers of Implementing VR in Dementia Care Training: A Scoping Review.”
