Alisha Tumar
Alisha is a current third year in Nutrition intending to major in Nursing at UBC. She is passionate about the intersection of medicine, healthcare, and social justice. Her experiences living in East Vancouver and studying life sciences have left her curious about how research can be more empathetic and human centred in fields such as health, wellness, and disability. She hopes to contribute to bridging the gap between academia and practical patient care and medicine.
Alisha also loves to get involved in the student community and is an avid foodie!
