Sophie Yang

Lab Manager

Sophie Yang is a third year UBC student and a research assistant working with the UBC Idea Lab. She has been involved in the Happy2Eat project and the Dementia-Friendly Communities project in the past year. As a previous Food, Nutrition and Health major and an incoming UBC BSN student, she looks forward to years of lifelong learning.

In the next five years, Sophie’s goals are to start and graduate nursing school, make the first steps in her career, live the Vancouver life, finally try skiing, and meet good people. To recharge, Sophie usually spends time with her family or best friends and laughs at internet memes. She loves good music, cooking, reading, and learning about people & culture.
